On behalf of the House of Mercy Church family, 1st Lady and I, would like to welcome you to our website! We pray that you will soon discover that it is our church’s passion to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God through the transforming power of his Word.
At H.O.M.E Ministries, our doors are always open to anyone from every walk of life regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. We are a God-center, Spirit-led church in the heart of Milwaukee, and our goal is to see lives changed as God’s Word transforms individuals and families through an engaging, powerful worship service that offers biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.

Our Story
Our Story
House Of Mercy Evangelistic Ministries Inc was given as a ministry focus from God to Pastor Russell Yancey Sr in January of 2011. Although in a pastoral assignment at another location, House of Mercy was only a conception and not God’s plan until the summer of 2013 when Pastor Yancey received his release from God to birth the new ministry. And so, on Sunday August 4, 2013, House of Mercy Evangelistic Ministries Inc (HOME). had its first worship service at 1:00 pm that Sunday afternoon inside of Prayer House of Faith Church, 4778 N Hopkins St., Milwaukee Wisconsin. There were 12 people present for our first service and are our founding members.
The ministry continued to grow and Pastor Yancey decided that it was time for us to have service in our own location. On Sunday, April 20, 2014 at 12:00pm, House of Mercy moved into our own building at 4563 N Hopkins St. and God has continued to bless the ministry to continue to grow and to thrive.
